Remarks: | Description: obverse and reverse are resp. verso and recto in Černý's transcription, Notebook 32.44-45. On obverse according to Černý 11 lines plus 2 lines of earlier writing. The editors of Deir el Medine online indicate that the writing on this ostracon is the same as on Berlin P 10637 and Berlin P 12406. Publication: for the sign left untranscribed by the editors in obv. 4, 8, 9 and rev. 9, see Janssen, BES 13 (1997), 26-27; Černý (Notebook 32.45) suggested: nD? 'grind'. Names/Titles: the name read as PA-aDd in rev. 8 by the editors, following Gutgesell, Datierung , 355, in fact reads pAy=i aDd 'my lad'. |
