Remarks: Provenance: according to the Journal d'Entrée of the Cairo Museum, the ostracon had been stolen, bought back by J. Cern from R. Blanchard on 26 January 1933 for PT 850, and presented to the museum. Publication: note that the order of "recto" and "verso" in Černý, Ostraca Caire , pl. CXVI is different from pp. 98 and 118*. The order given in his description and transcription is maintained here, although the dates mentioned suggest the inverse order. Names: Černý read PA-5w-nDm (?) in obv. 5, but PA-sn-nDm seems better. PA-sn-nDm sA Ra-mry is known from other texts of the end of Dyn. 20; see Gutgesell, Datierung I, 141, 150 and 151; II, 341 and 342.
