Description: | Vase fragment of red pottery, 18 x 25.2 cm, in 12 fragments. Obverse 20 lines (13-20 to the left of 5-12), reverse two texts: alpha 12 lines, beta (earlier) 8 lines in larger characters, perpendicular to those of alpha , top obverse = bottom reverse, black ink except rev. alpha 2-7 and 11, and parts of obv. 13, 15, rev. alpha 1, which are red, obv. 18-20 isolated by means of lines. Damaged, beginnings of obv. 2, rev. alpha 12, beta 4 and 5 lost, ends of obv. 12 and 18, rev. alpha 2 and 11, beta 3 and 6 lost, lacuna in rev. alpha 1, 10 and 11, unknown number of lines following rev. alpha 12 lost, only traces of obv. 1. Obverse palimpsest. |
