Remarks: Provenance: note that many of the Strasbourg ostraca were excavated by J.E. Quibell in the Ramesseum in 1895-1896 and given to the Bibliothèque Nationale et Universitaire by W.M. Flinders Petrie in 1918 (Koenig, Ostraca Strasbourg , 1; Spiegelberg, ZÄS 58 (1923), 25, note 4). Date(s) mentioned: the sign-group for 'first month' is not given in the published facsimile nor in the transcription, yet visible on the photograph. Dates attributed: in view of the turnus of guard duties, I pr.t of year 31 (R.J. Demarée; see Helck, ZDMG 105 (1955), 37) and seems to follow O. DeM 0159. Names, Titles: the name in l. 1 (Koenig: Ii-m-Htp ; cf. Müller, LingAeg 7 (2000), 276: Ii-r-niw.t=f or Ns-Imn ) is more probably to be read as Nxw-m-Mw.t . In l. 4 after tpi -fish read Sw (Gard. N 8) instead of ' Abd 3'.
