Description: | Pottery (vase fragment), 7 x 8.5 cms. Damaged. Two sides. Obverse: palimpsest, three lines in black ink and below this traces of at least one line of an earlier text in red ink. Reverse: four lines in black ink. On obverse left edge broken off, causing the loss of the ends of all three lines. On reverse left edge and bottom broken off; ends off all lines missing and lines 1 and 4 effaced. |

Remarks: | Provenance: note that many of the Strasbourg ostraca were excavated by J.E. Quibell in the Ramesseum in 1895-1896 and given to the Bibliothèque Nationale et Universitaire by W.M. Flinders Petrie in 1918 (Koenig, Ostraca Strasbourg , 1; Spiegelberg, ZÄS 58 (1923), 25, note 4). Dates mentioned: in obv. 2 read sw 27 (Müller, LingAeg 7 (2000), 278) instead of sw 28 (editor).
