Description: | Papyrus, 21 x 43 cm (43 cm. being the original height of the papyrus scroll) . Black ink, one side (V/H), 9 lines; two hands: lines 1-3 bold writing with good forms and orthography; lines 4-9 written carelessly and full of mistakes. Palimpsest; earlier text (carefully erased) ran parallel with fibres; lines of present text run perpendicular to those of earlier text, that is, across fibres. Complete; top edge of present text was outside the roll and suffered slight damage, but no text is lost. |

Contents: | Statement by the workman 2a-m-Nwn that he will give a copper washing-bowl to his son On-Hr-xpS=f , and another statement to confirm the latter's right to possess the bowl. Handing over the bowl in the presence of a number of workmen, and an oath by On-Hr-xpS=f with respect to an amount of grain he has given to his father: if he takes back this grain, he is to give a pair of sandals to the workman Imn-nxt and a wooden box to the workman MAA.n=i-nxt=f (both his brothers) as payment for the documents they have drawn up with respect to their father's deposition.
