Description: Papyrus, 15.5 x 17.5 cm, sheet joins visible at 3 cm and 6.5 cm from upper edge (with text on recto in upright position), recto fibres V/H above lower join and H/V below it. Black ink, recto 9 lines, verso 5 lines, top recto = bottom verso; recto and verso different handwritings(?). Recto and verso palimpsest. Damaged, ends of all lines lost.

Contents: Anonymous sender to anonymous addressee about some pieces of furniture (a mAs.t and a small bed). The addressee is to finish these and to send them by an intermediary named Nxt-Mnw (? see Remarks).

Remarks: Contents/Names, Titles: the name in recto 7 is read by Černý as Nxt-aA (otherwise unknown in DeM-texts); by Wente as Nxt-Mnw . Mnw , however, is uncertain in view of the traces extant. The name is probably identical with that in P. DeM 18 recto 8; that text seems to refer to the same matter.
