Description: Papyrus, 159 x 22 cm, sheet joins at distances of 26, 25.5, 43.5, 26, 25 and 21 cm starting from the right edge of recto. Black and red ink, recto 7 columns: recto I-VI all 9 lines, recto VII 10 lines; verso 6 columns: verso I (at the back of recto VI and VII) 6 lines, verso II (at the back of recto V and VI) 7 lines, verso III (at the back of recto IV and V) 3 lines, verso IV (at the back of recto IV) 4 lines, verso V (at the back of recto II and III) 7 lines (plus one line in red between lines 1 and 2), verso VI (at the back of recto I) 3 lines. Top recto = top verso. Writing on verso by three hands, all different from recto: small characters in verso II; larger in verso I, III and IV; even larger in verso V. Palimpsest; traces of earlier text on recto and verso. Damaged; beginnings of all lines of recto I, of recto II 7-9, recto III 7, 8, recto IV 6, verso V 5, verso VI 1 and 2 lost; ends of recto I 6-9, recto II 3, 4-9, of all lines of recto VII, of verso V 1, 2, verso VI 1 and 2 lost; gaps in all lines of recto II-IV, recto V 3-9, verso IV 2, 3, in all lines of verso V and in verso VI 3; only traces of verso IV 4.

Provenance: Geneva MAH 15274 given to the Geneva museum by A.H. Gardiner in 1937 in exchange for P. Geneva D 405, 408 and 409 (Massart, MDAIK 15 (1957), 172). Turin CGT 54063 presumably acquired by the government of Piedmont for the Turin museum from Bernardino Drovetti in 1823 (see e.g. S.
