Description: Dark brown papyrus, three fragments that do not join: upper fragment (Turin) 22.5 x 31 cm, lower right fragment (Turin) 21 x 16 cm, lower left fragment (Milan) 17 x 30.7 cm. Black and red ink; recto 3 columns: recto I (Turin frgts.) ends of 6 lines, recto II (Turin frgts.) 12 + 10 lines (lines on unpublished lower frgt. here numbered x + 13 to x + 22), recto III (Milan frgt.) 9 lines (here numbered x + 1 to x + 9); verso 4 columns: verso I (Milan frgt.) 15 lines, verso II (Milan frgt.) 6 lines followed by a blank and 2 lines written upside down, verso III 14 (Turin frgt.) + 10 lines (Milan frgt., here numbered x + 15 etc.), verso IV (Turin frgt.) 25 lines. Top recto = top verso. Palimpsest; traces of previous text visible on recto and verso. Contents: Necropolis journal of months I and II Ax.t recording work and inactivity of the gang, deliveries of fish and firewood. Special events: (1) sending a letter to the vizier and the scribe of the mat, who are asked for grain rations, but write back about Meshwesh coming to Thebes (recto II 7-9); (2) collecting and redistributing copper tools (recto II 10-12); (3) court case involving the scribe 1r and Imn-wa ; the latter(?) is to pay a fine; Imn-wa is paid by the woodcutter 2nsw-ms for something he has obtained from the Rebu (recto III x + 4 and x + 5).
