Description: Papyrus sheet, 22.5 x 18 cm. Damaged. Broken into 13(?) strips increasing in height from bottom to top. Recto V/H, verso H/V. Top recto = bottom verso. In black ink 15 lines of writing on the recto and 14 lines (including address) on the verso. A substantial fragment is missing at the upper left of the recto and the sheet is damaged at the left of the recto, causing loss of writing at the ends of all lines. Some gaps as a result of folding caused slight loss of writing at several places. Address at the bottom of the verso.

Contents: A message from the necropolis scribe 9Hwty-ms to his son Bw-th-Imn and 5d-m-dwA.t informing them he has left his superior (the General) in Elephantine going south towards Nubia and urging them to pray for his safe return. He further sends greetings to a workman and some women, telling them not to neglect a certain policeman.
