Palimpsest; traces of earlier writing on verso. Damaged; one or more lines lost at top of recto; writing very pale at places. |

Contents: | Letter to a Necropolis scribe(?) about a (female) donkey in the possession of the writer. Two attendants (Sms.w ) have come from Thebes to take it from him, but he has managed to keep it, and sent it to the addressee through the scibe 4r-Imn . The addressee is urged not to quarrel, but to accept a (male) donkey from the writer. The writer further states that he has sent the addressee's (female) donkey to him, together with a sack of barley and other commodities, in regnal year 6. |
