Remarks: Belonging to Giornale 17-A; order: 17-A recto, 17-B recto, 17-B verso, 17-A verso; see Botti-Peet, Il giornale della necropoli di Tebe , pl. b. Numbers : Cern MSS.3.623-6 mention "P. Turin Cat. 2082 + 2090(?)" for what is recto III-VI of the present document, but Cat. 2090 is not mentioned by Botti-Peet, Il giornale della necropoli di Tebe , 15-18 and pl. b. Description: Botti and Peet, ( Il giornale della necropoli di Tebe , 9, 15, 16, 28, 29) distinguish two scribes who wrote the Necropolis Journal of years 13 and 17: hand A ("mano A") wrote Giornale 13, 17-A recto, 17-A verso I, 17-B recto I, II, VII and VIII and 17-B verso ; hand B ("mano B") wrote Giornale 17-A verso II-VI and 17-B recto III-VI as well as lines a-b over 17-B recto VII-VIII. Dates mentioned: dates in recto I 1-14 reconstructed by Helck, Die datierten und datierbaren Ostraka , 523 and 524. Contents: most of the thieves' names in recto III-VI are also mentioned in Giornale 17-A recto V 8-11, P. BM EA 10068 recto I-III and P. BM EA 10053 recto (see Peet, Tomb-robberies , 72-111, pls. IX-XIX). Names, Titles: for iAT n 1apy-aA (recto I 5?), cf. pA iw n 1apy-aA (verso II A 1). 4tX-ms ( wHa ; recto II ~16# ) reconstructed by Botti-Peet, Il giornale della necropoli di Tebe , 62. Reconstruction of names and titles in recto III 1, 6, 8, 14, 15, 16, recto IV 1, recto V 14 and 15 based on Giornale 17-A recto V 8, 11, P. BM EA 10068 recto II 1, 15 and P. BM EA 10053 recto I 16, 17, recto II 1, recto IV 1, 2, 3, 9, recto VI 1 (see Peet, Tomb-robberies , pls. IX, XVII, XVIII and XIX). PA-2r (recto III 13) was wab -priest and coppersmith according to P. BM EA 10053 recto III 19 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XVII). For Imn Bw-on.tw=f (recto IV 2?) cf. P. BM EA 10053 recto IV 10; see Peet, Tomb-robberies , 110 (note 12) and pl. XVIII. For 6A-kt (recto V 5 and recto VI 10) cf. 6A-kAr.t (?) in P. BM EA 10053 recto V 9 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XVIII). The name of the laundryman in recto V 15 is mentioned in P. BM EA 10053 recto VI 2, but its reading is uncertain: 3nm-bA.w or 7Aw-bA.w ? See Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XIX. For anx n niw.t n Imn.t.t Niw.t (recto V 16) see P. BM EA 10053 recto VI 3 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XIX). PA-on (recto VI 1) appears as PA-an-on in Giornale 17-A recto V 9 and as an-onnA in P. BM EA 10068 recto III 1 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. X). For PA-sn sA PA-Hm-nTr (recto VI 3 ) see P. BM EA 10053 recto VI 15 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XIX). 2nsw-m-Hb etc. (recto VI 4): the first sign(s) of the royal name (Botti-Peet: Ra and nb ) is perhaps rather xpr ; cf. P. BM EA 10053 recto VI 16, where the name is aA-xpr-kA-Ra , i.e. Thutmose I (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XIX). Ns-Imn etc. (recto VI ~9#): for the title Hm-nTr In-Hr see P. BM EA 10053 recto VII 3 (Peet, Tomb-robberies , pl. XIX).
